First time using Turo I learned through trial and error.
-You can't inquire with the host until after you've booked.
-most listing's don't have unlimited miles. The chargers adds up for going over.
-You can't trust the photos that you see on the booking. It can be deceiving.
-the bring car to me option is an additional charge.
I chose this booking because of 1. the bring the car to me option but after booking I found out that it's an additional charge. Host wanted $70 to bring it 15 miles. I declined. 2. It was a new listing with a nice photo outside the dealership.
When I arrived to the car it had been parked on the street under trees. It had spiders and spider webs on it and debris from just being parked. The inside was horrible. It hadn't seen a vacuum in I don't know when. I spent 2 hours at the car wash. Pet hair and months of filth from not regularly cleaning. Had a nerve to place paper down and hang air freshener to make it appear like it is was clean.
The car was over $100 a day and I paid nearly 1400 for 10 days. Which is My main reasoning for the rating. What am I paying this much for? When you can't even Provide a clean vehicle. The main aspect!
Of course I returned the vehicle the way it should of been when I rented it. In superb condition.
The car drove well and I did like that the host provided car chargers and a phone holder.
The host has good manners. Always greeted me. And his response time was always good.
Host greed was priority over providing quality service. He was too money hungry.
Turo is beneficial when you need something last minute.
I will stick to rental companies. You can call to inquire before booking. You earn points towards free rentals every time you rent. And the miles are unlimited.

The delivery fee was optional and clearly shown before booking. I’m glad you appreciated the vehicle, accessories, and my communication.
