Beware! We had a horrible experience renting from this individual. Where do I begin? We got the automated message about how he would send details about how to get into the car. My reservation location was the hotel I was staying in. At the appropriate time for the start of my reservation I received no message. Thirty minutes later I messaged asking for car info (location and drop box code). No answer. I had to contact Turo who then called the host. Turo got back to me and said that the host thought I was picking up from his location and not the hotel that I clearly entered on the reservation. So I had to wait another 30 minutes for someone to bring the car to me. By this time we are 90 minutes past the starting time of my reservation. This guy who I assume works for the host just kind of said, key is in the car, the lockbox code is whatever code I see on the box, and that was it and he left. I had an important appointment to make. The car itself had several dents and scratches. Had a crack in the front windshield as well (I took photos).
During my reservation I explained to the host that I should not have to fill up gas for the car. He already was 90 minutes late getting me the car and since I had an appointment I would not have time to fill (which is his fault). He wrote back a sob story about how making mistakes is human, gas prices are high and I should just forgive him. He offered to extend my reservation which doesnt help me at all since I needed the car earlier and not later. He could have at least either allow me not to fill the tank (I only used 50 miles anyway) or maybe charge me less since I made a four hour reservation and due to his mistake I only had the car for two and a half hours.
This was just a terrible experience overall. Rent at your own risk.
Small dogs make the most noise and then want everything for nothing. We are not perfect but do a great job most of the times. Sorry for our imperfections

Good car, some details, scratches, key was malfunctioning and sounded once in a while, backdoor was damaged but owner let me know before if I wanted to rent it this way or not,
