Greetings! My experience with this host was frustrating from the start. My trip was scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., and although I submitted my driver’s license and selfie the morning of (around 8:00/8:30 a.m.), I received no communication about the vehicle location or access instructions upon arrival.
After landing, I reached out multiple times through the app with no response. I eventually had to contact Turo support, and even they were unable to reach the host initially. The only response I received from the host during this time was “give me a minute,” with no additional context. I did not receive the actual pickup details until well after my scheduled start time, causing unnecessary delays.
Once I finally accessed the vehicle, I was required to pay a $9 exit fee because the parking ticket left in the car was dated the day before my trip. This was not disclosed in advance.
To make matters worse, despite filling up the gas tank the night before returning the vehicle, I was later charged $13 for fuel plus a $10 inconvenience fee. This was unexpected and did not align with my experience of returning the car with gas. If anything, I should be refunded for an hour for the inconvenience I was caused. However, I will not press the issue any further.
Overall, the lack of communication, delayed pickup process, and additional unexpected charges made this a disappointing experience. I would not book with this host again.

The vehicle was ready in advance, but license verification was completed only a few hours before the trip, which is required before sharing access details. I acknowledge there was a delay in communication and will work to improve this.
Charges are applied based on the vehicle’s condition at pickup and return, but I will review this to avoid any confusion.
