Car was durable! The air did go out in the middle of the trip! Other than that the car is in good condition! Host very understanding and awesome communication

Once again, Al is a great host and would definitely recommend you guys book with him and his family!

The car itself had a noticeable rattling noise from the front end, which was concerning while driving. The AC was also inconsistent — sometimes it would blow cold and other times it was only slightly cool. In Florida, reliable AC is pretty important, so that was frustrating. The tire pressure light also came on almost immediately after pickup.

The pickup process was confusing as well. It was listed as a lockbox pickup, but I still had to meet the owner in person, which kind of defeats the purpose of using a lockbox. And the host didn’t know English so we were both very confused.

Another issue was when I needed to extend the rental by one day. I submitted the request about five hours before the scheduled return time, but the host never responded, didn’t read the request, and didn’t answer calls or texts. I wasn’t sure whether I needed to return the car or if the extension would be approved. Eventually I had to contact Turo support about an hour after my scheduled drop-off time, and they were able to approve the extension immediately, which helped, but it added unnecessary stress.

Unfortunately, I would not rent from this host again. In situations where plans change or emergencies come up, being able to communicate with the host is really important.
