The car broke down doing the first couple hours of the trip and check engine light came on the car didn’t start back up and had to be towed again this was very inconvenient and a waste of time

Guest left the lights on the car overnight and couldn’t start it the next day since she killed the battery. Then after she had it jumped she then just requested it towed instead of returning the car.
I have rented through this company many times in the past, and they used to provide great customer service. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case.
This was a very disappointing experience. About four hours into my trip, the A/C completely stopped working and would not come back on for the rest of the rental. It was extremely hot and humid, making the vehicle very uncomfortable to drive.
I reported the issue as soon as it happened, but the response I received was dismissive. Instead of focusing on resolving the problem, I was told the vehicle had been inspected before my trip. While I understand inspections are performed, mechanical problems can still happen, and that’s exactly what happened here. I expected a solution, not excuses.
I paid for a vehicle that should have been in proper working condition, and it wasn’t. Driving without air conditioning in that kind of heat for the remainder of my rental was unacceptable. As a loyal, repeat customer, I expected much better customer service and support than what I received.
Based on this experience, I would not rent this vehicle again and cannot recommend it to others.
