Great car! Great host, fast replies. Easy pickup

Joshua, I’m giving 2 stars only out of consideration for the host. Normally, I would definitely give this experience 1 star. Here are the reasons:

1. The vehicle’s existing damage was not disclosed beforehand, and I was not informed about the warning lights and issues on the dashboard.
2. There was a very strong marijuana odor inside the vehicle, and the smell had even permeated the AC vents. It seems like some people rent this car just to show off and don’t treat it properly. Remember, this is a vehicle, not your personal toy. Please think about future customers and treat it accordingly.
3. Most importantly, the vehicle’s registration tags were expired, and a police officer actually warned me about this.

I was extremely unhappy with the vehicle and only drove it 3–4 miles. If I had known about these issues beforehand, I would never have rented it.

However, I believe the host, Joshua, did everything he could to help, so I think these issues were mainly caused by the co-host and the team.

The vehicle seriously needs maintenance. I would not recommend renting it for comfort or a good driving experience, but if you just want to show off, then go for it.

This was my first Turo experience, and unfortunately, I don’t think I will rent through Turo again.

Warning: I would not recommend renting this vehicle.
I'm disappointed to leave a negative review because I've used Turo successfully for several years and have consistently had excellent experiences. Unfortunately, this rental was a significant exception.
The vehicle was very poorly maintained. It had numerous scratches and dents, and it was not clean upon pickup. More concerning, the vehicle displayed continuous warning messages throughout my trip, including: "Service Request," "Collision Warning System Inactive," "Frontal Collision System Warning," "Emergency Call Malfunction," "Pedestrian Warning," and "Washer Fluid Low." The dashboard also indicated that service had been overdue since May 2025.
I did not feel safe driving this vehicle and was eager to return it. Fortunately, I was traveling alone. Had I been transporting colleagues or guests, I would have been embarrassed to arrive in a vehicle that was in this condition.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend renting this vehicle until it has been properly serviced and maintained.
