Tyler was very helpful and polite. The car seemed good at the outset. However, on the evening of day 4 of my trip, it developed some unknown mechanical issue-a noise when starting out that subsided after it was up to speed. I returned the car earlier than planned the next day to the airport, and notified Tyler by phone. He submitted a damage repot which claimed that the check engine light was on when I specifically said it had not been on. He also claimed oil under the car but I saw no evidence of this at any of my stops, or at my motel parking lot. The steep, mountainous roads of New Mexico stresses transmissions. Mechanical failure is not my fault. Tyler was polite on the phone but now seems to want to blame me for his car failing under normal use. I would not rent from Turo again.
