Host was great and vehicle is very roomy however the vehicle has a lot of ware and the pickup and drop off is inconvenient if you are traveling from the airport you will need to find a ride back doors do not open from the inside and charging ports do not work

Host: communication was good and clear
Car quality: Bad
This vehicle needs serious maintenance! The passenger back door does not open from the inside and the pull-up lock is gone so you can’t open it that way either— traps passengers in the backseat and the third row seat inside the vehicle. What a horrible situation if a wreck had happened in all passengers needed to exit quickly. Door can only be opened from the outside. The back hatch lock is damaged or broken and you have to slam it multiple times to get it to close and the error message to go away! The glass portion of the hatch does not close completely and you get tons of road noise!
These items do not work: cruise control, automatic headlights, the horn (which is a safety issue), backseat air-conditioning controls.
Interior condition: there are holes on the dash and on the door panels where something at some point was screwed in it has been removed. There’s a patch in the fabric on the ceiling.
Driving: can’t drive over 78 mph because the vehicle needs a balance, rotate, and maybe an alignment!
All of the maintenance issues caused me to give this experience a two out of five. Had I not been on a tight schedule with out of town guess on a travel tour, I would’ve demanded to trade out this vehicle or get my money back. But there was absolutely no time to do that!
Other items: There was no windshield washer fluid.
This was my first experience, renting with Turo and it will probably be my last!
Hi Jeannie, thanks for the feedback. As noted in our messages, this is a former sheriff unit priced low due to its unique history. I take safety seriously and am immediately repairing the horn and door as soon as we can—a leftover security feature from its service days. While the cosmetic 'character' was disclosed to you immediately upon booking. I’m sorry the mechanical items fell short. I did not notice any vibrations while driving 78+ and the cruise control worked for me.
