I wish I could rate this rental 0 stars. We received a vehicle that was amoralled up but had several issues. The car burns oil. We had to stop and fill up the oil on 3 different occasions. We ran over a nail and got a flat tire. The host doesn't provide tools to change the tire. We had to call Turo roadside which costs extra. The front license plate isn't attached properly causing the front sensor to go off all the time. The rear interior lights dont go off. The host then charged me for a supposed scratch on the rim of the tire we had a flat on. We ran over a nail, didn't cause any damage to the tire. My mistake was informing the host. He asked what tire and I told him not knowing he would extort me for more money on a supposed scratch on a rim for a car with 100k miles. DO NOT RENT A VEHICLE FROM ASTRO RENTALS. THEY PROVIDED ME WITH A CAR THAT BURNED OIL THEN CHARGED ME FOR A SCRATCH ON A RIM THAT I DIDN'T DO. I WILL BE CREATING A MARKETING CAMPAIGN AGAINST ASTRO RENTAL FOR THEIR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.

John, we’d like to clarify a few points. Turo does not require hosts to provide tire-changing tools, and guests are advised to use roadside assistance for safety. The license plate concern was never reported to us, so we had no opportunity to assess it. Pre-trip photos clearly show all rims undamaged, while post-trip photos show new damage. The vehicle was also inspected at two separate shops with no oil issues found, and we had never experienced oil problems prior to this trip.
