I was originally going to give 3 stars because of the quality of the car, but I’m giving 1 star because of the service.
The car itself was very clean, and the newer screen worked great with CarPlay. However, the engine did not feel strong and accelerating on the highway was at times genuinely uncomfortable. I would get stuck around 100 km/h, then drop to 95 even while pressing harder on the gas, before suddenly jumping up to 125. It made highway driving feel unpredictable.
There was also a microphone mounted on the dash, which I found strange and wasn’t expecting.
The EZpark service did not work for me. They sent multiple messages, texts and calls throughout the rental, far more communication than was necessary.
When they dropped off the car, they weren’t able to leave it for me to pick up and insisted that I stop what I was doing to come collect it. I accommodated that. However, when returning the car, I was driving back from four hours outside the city and they repeatedly messaged, texted and called asking me to confirm exactly what time I would arrive. This created a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress while I was travelling.
I had the car booked until 8 PM and was returning it before 8 PM. As long as I returned the car within my booked rental period, I should not have been responsible for coordinating my arrival around their schedule.
I’ve enjoyed Turo so far, but I will not be booking with this rental again specifically.

We’re genuinely surprised by this review, as everything went smoothly on our end. I personally delivered the vehicle and waited 30 minutes in the requested loading area due to no legal parking. At return, we sent two messages and made one call after receiving no response, in order to avoid parking violations. No vehicle concerns were reported during the trip. As a 2012 CR-V, it naturally drives differently than newer vehicles. The microphone is part of the aftermarket Apple CarPlay system.
Car was great and very clean and well maintained also great in gas ! Would definitely rent from the host again.
