Car was decent. There were some exterior damages I hadn’t seen on the original photos (missing foot rail, scratches chips in paint at back) but overall comfortable and clean interior.
The key fob did die during our trip, which resulted in some complications during our stay, the host asked if I could pick up new batteries and they would reimburse, however I had already lost a couple hours without being able to unlock the vehicle and needed to find wifi to look up solution (there’s a hard key hidden in the fob which requires a small piece to loosen up, glad I know now).
The parking/pick up was okay. I definitely could have been more clear with my questions but looking back on the parking instructions there were several different lots listed in the pre-pick up instructions as well as the messages from the host during our stay.
The response time in the app says (within 5 hours) and I would say that was quite accurate, don’t expect immediate responses (though credit where credit is due they were responsive during pick up and drop off, just not really around otherwise).
Overall I gave it 2 stars, I wasn’t really looking to leave a review but even after communicating these challenges to the hosts I just received a $11 charge for tolls (which I absolutely used - was just surprised given the dead fob, mix up on lots and lost time/money having to order Ubers that I would still get an $11 toll charge a week later. So that’s my honest take, I’m sure others have had positive experiences with these guys.
