I hate to leave a bad review, but unfortunately this wasn’t a great vehicle. Upon picking up, the car smelled of mildew and had items of previous users trash in the vehicle. I very seriously considered going to clean the car myself as it was much dirtier than my car at home. The smell was very gross, like wet towels left in the washer for too long. The dashboard was dirty, with it appearing not to have been cleaned for quite some time as it had little pieces of debris and dust all across it. Car had a quarter tank of gas, which is annoying. I returned it nearly full as I don’t drive my own car at less than a quarter. Upon driving the vehicle, I then noticed literal foot prints on the windshield (adult and child) on the right hand side. When hitting about 60-70mph, the wheels shook as it clearly needs an alignment. My son rolled down his window (passenger rear) and we couldn’t get it to roll back up using the drivers command. We then tried his window control and it ended up going up. When leaving Disneyland at night, I noticed our headlights flickered constantly on the car ahead of us. The battery died on us as well, after listening to music without the engine on for about 10-16 minutes- which it should hold charge longer than that. When I rent a car, I expect it to be cleaner and in better working condition than my own, and this was not the case. I am very disappointed with my first experience with Turo. I hope the owners reviewed this and repair these items and leave the car cleaner for future guests.
