Just being completely transparent, I rented the car the day before a family trip to Disneyland. I had no issues booking, picking up or even dropping the vehicle off. I’ve rented from owners before on Turo and all of which made sure the car was clean inside and out, and that the fuel tank was on full. When I received the vehicle, there were personal items still in the car, and it was dirty on the inside. There were stains on the seats and food in the cup holders and on the floor. The fuel tank was on less than half a tank. I personally took the vehicle to a car wash the blow out and vacuum up any excess trash/food particles. I also made sure I wiped down all of the seats with disinfectant spray.
Outside of the car not being fully clean on the inside, it ran smooth, didn’t have any odors and the owner was completely nice. I’d definitely consider renting from him again if allowed to do so. 🙏🏾
