Disaster, this car smelled like smoke and dirty ashtray. We rented this van before and was overpowered by air freshener. We asked Thiago for no airfeshner this trip and did not warn us the vehicle smells like smoke. He admitted to making a mistake and not notifying us. There was a problem with smoke and Thiago did not clean vehicle of smoke or advise us without airfreshners the van will smell like smoke. This vehicle should NOT be rented unless disclosed it smells of smoke and ashtray. We picked up the van at 6 am and at 7 am was too late to return or cancel the trip. Thiago acknowledged he messed up not telling us the van will smell like smoke without airfreshners. You can see in his email and we then asked for a refund because if this dirty trick. DO NO RENT THIS STINKY SMOKED FILLED VAN.. smells like a dirty ashtray and Thiago wants to put airfreshner pods to disguise the smoke smell.. doesn’t not work , do not rent unless you smoke and want to smoke in this van. SMOKING IN THIS VAN

This vehicle has completed many trips with 5-star reviews. Several claims here are simply false trip photos prove there was NO check engine, low oil light, or other mechanical issues he selected. He used the van for the entire trip without requesting a replacement, despite other cars being available. If the cigarette smell was unacceptable to him, he could have requested another vehicle. He only demanded a refund after completing the trip, and these false claims followed after I refused.

Not the smoothest Turo pick-up I’ve ever experienced. We had difficulty getting into the lobby to retrieve the car and communication with host was not as prompt as one would expect in the midst of a challenging pick-up.
