Car quality, pick up location and host were all great but my experience was not great. I rented the car from Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon. After pick up I drove to the airport and drove back to the house where it sat in the driveway the entire day until I stepped out to the gas station around 10pm only to notice the tire pressure on the right passenger side was low. I immediately contacted the host and informed that I would put air in the tire for the night and monitor in the morning. 8am next morning the tire was completely flat. There was no way of having someone come and replace the tire, the only option was to have the vehicle towed and wait for it to be ready again, this unfortunately ruined the plans we had set for the day and honestly made renting the car completely pointless as it was mainly to use the following day for our planned day. The host did try their best to work something out but again it didn’t make sense as it would’ve continued to take time out of our day. I took record of the mileage from start to end for our trip and for only 56 miles I have been charged $117 for this trip. Again, I put no blame on the host however my overall experience felt poor due to the resolution Turo as a company was able to provide. Would reconsider using Turo in the future.
Unfortunately your review of 2 stars is for the host and not Turo itself . This hurts us severely for a flat tire that’s out of our control.
