Vehicle condition: 1/5
- One headlight was not working at pickup.
- The vehicle would not start the following morning due to battery issues.
- Even after AAA jump-started the vehicle, it failed to restart and we were unable to use it for our planned trip.
Host communication: 4/5
- The host was generally responsive and stayed in communication throughout the incident.
- However, we were repeatedly asked to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues ourselves, including checking the headlight and arranging jump-start solutions, rather than being provided with a replacement vehicle.
Unfortunately, the vehicle’s condition ultimately made the rental unusable for our trip. We had to abandon our plans and use our own vehicles instead. While I appreciate the host’s responsiveness, a rental vehicle should be safe, reliable, and ready to drive at pickup.
Thanks, we found headlights were all working. You never complained this issue instead mentioned from a prior review which already got taken care. Moreover, we asked mechanic to check for battery replacement but he mentioned battery is fine instead drained(probably leaving interior van lights on). Only jump start worked for us. Further, I shared alerts from telematics on car that car battery drained during ur trip overnight. It had been on back to back trips & u also picked up fine

The left headlight didn’t turn on. I later saw same issue reported by another person for this car a month ago. You get what you pay for, car drives but not very clean and has 135k miles.
