Three hours before my trip starts the host sends me a message stating that my original car which I specifically asked for a hybrid was not available, sends me the alternative, a lower priced non hybrid van, or to cancel my trip. With no compensation whatsoever, besides I had to pay $15 for parking which was not agreed upon upfront. Overall with the extra gas I had to pay for a non hybrid vehicle and parking, came up to $75 extra from my budget. On the return, the host was rude, never renting from him again

We’re sorry the trip fell short of expectations. The reserved 2023 Pacifica Hybrid was not returned on time by the prior guest, so we offered a 2025 Pacifica Limited, a newer, higher-priced trim with rear TVs and 6,000 miles at the same price, with Turo’s approval. You could accept it or choose another Turo vehicle, and no concern was shared when it was accepted. The $15 exit parking fee was disclosed at booking, and pickup was over 2 hours late. Our communication is very direct and objective.

Amazing minivan with great features. Made our long family drive super comfortable. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Plus the host was very accommodating with special requests. And he even made sure I got my wallet back after his car wash people found it. One of the best Turo experiences I’ve had.
