The host was very prompt when communicating through the app. I informed him of several issues during the trip and he wrote back quickly acknowledging what I wrote. This was our first time using Turo, and unfortunately things didn't go as expected. I took plenty of photos before "checking-in" to the car because I noticed some cosmetic details on the outside and inside of the vechicle. After checking-in, and getting in the car. I noted there were many flies in the car and took a video of them. When driving away, I just rolled down the windows to try and get them out. After loading up the car, we attempted to use the disc loader in the vechicle and it would slightly open and then close immediately. I tried connecting my phone using the cord instead, and it wouldn't connect. Attempted to use the VES/DVD player through the main screen (as the remote did not have batteries) and it wouldn't turn on. The sliding door on the passenger side kept coming off the track, which was a safety issue, and required us to stop and fix it frequently. And the passenger side window button wouldn't work on the passengers side, BUT would roll down if the driver rolled it down (the lock was not engaged, we checked)
I am hoping to work with the host to figure some stuff out but overall I appreciated the extra space for me and my children while we were using the vechicle.
