Vehicle overall was good. It has a dent in the back and was missing a panel around the passenger window. My main issue was that I reached out to Kristopher months before my rental asking about the DVD system, ensuring that it worked correctly, no issues, etc. as it was imperative for our family road trip with 4 boys. When I brought the van home, I couldn't get the videos to play from the audio. Kristopher tried to assist me by phone but was unable. He came to my residence and spent over an hour trying to fix the issue but was unable. We needed to be in the road by 5a the following morning. He was able to help me partially by allowing sound to play from 2 headsets only, still no audio from the vehicle speakers. He ensured me that I would get a partial refund for being told that the DVD was working correctly but it was not. Over a week after the return of the vehicle I texted Kristopher asking about my partial refund and he never replied.
Also the night that he came to my house to try to fix the DVD issue, he stated that he had 3 other people that helped him with his rental vehicles and he would send me their contact info in case he want available. I never received anyone's contact info. The couple of times that I did text Kristopher directly after receiving no reply when sending texts on the Turo app, it took him 4hrs for a reply on 1 occasion and 2 days for a reply on the other occasion.
I will say that Kristopher was friendly when in person, but the delay to respond to communication requests and the inaccurate information provided about the vehicle, despite me reaching out to him months prior to the start of my rental about the importance of having a fully and accurately functioning DVD system, would not warrant me renting any vehicle from him in the future.
