I was extremely disappointed in the service. I reserved and paid for a 2026 Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid. On the day of pickup (June 4) the host messaged me saying the Rav4 was no longer an option and switched us to a Toyota Sienna Van. At that point, I had no option but to accept and take the Sienna. We wanted the Rav4 in order to test it for our two-week trip as my wife is in the market for a new car. Upon arrival at the pick up location we were disappointed in the condition of the Sienna. It clearly had been in a prior wreck or mistreated. The back tail gate molding was broken and missing pieces. The instrument panel showed a tire warning and maintenance required warning the entire trip. There was also a periodic warning that the rear tail gate was not closed when it was. This was not the experience I expected from Turo. I asked for a discount and was told that the Sienna was an upgrade from the brand new Rav4. Again, with no choice on the day of pickup we paid full price for a less than optimal vehicle.

Too complicated process. Too many emails, too many photos. Overall makes me question whether to use Turo again.

Getting the car out of economy parking cost me $24 which I thought was way too expensive. The car must have been there hours before my trip began. Overall car was great, I always need 6 seats so the value vs typical rental counter car is good. Definitely will rent from L A Auto Spot again and recommend to anyone needing a rental in any of there locations.
