Everything was good. Easy pick up and drop off, van ran great and was clean. It is in decent shape for its age, nothing fancy but served its purpose and had zero issues. Would rent again.

I originally booked this van on January 28th for a March 14th, 2026 pick up-March 22nd, 2026 return, I paid $435.84.
Upon arrival we found out the trip was canceled because the people prior to us never returned it. Which is weird— because I messaged Gerald before we boarded our flight and said “hey please confirm my license so when we land we can pick up the car” I never heard back from him. The flight landed and I had a message that turo had canceled the rental due to the previous people not returning the car.
I’m stuck in the airport at 1030 p.m. with 5 kids ages 3-13 and no way to our VRBO 45 miles away. We eventually got a Hertz rental for an additional $275 for 1 night, and we would figure out this Turo thing in the morning.
The next morning I have a call from Gerald who said that they found the van and we could rebook it but because turo canceled the booking we would have to rebook the van through the app. When I went back in it was prompting me to pay another $342.22. I called Gerald who said that it was because Turo canceled the trip and I was being refunded the original $435.84. I called turo who said the same thing, I clarified and the guy from turo said I would be refunded $435.84.
I have been waiting 10 days like it says on their site and no refund has been issued, I called again today and they said “no the rebooking cost was $778.06” Gerald and Turo mislead me into thinking I would get a refund within 10 days and to pay the $342.22
