Chairs were dirty, arm rests were dirty, steering wheel was dirty... Interior plastics and interior as a whole was dirty and smelled strange. Although the vehicle got us from point A to B, the vehicle ride quality was not good. Shocks are blown causing excessive bouncing on bumps, which was dangerous at high speeds as the vehicle was hard to control coming down from bumps. Alignment was also off, and the battery is not secured with the proper battery hold down. The van got the job done, but the vehicle needs some love and attention!!
Actually not dirty we clean the whole car every time. It's got light colored interior and it's stained badly. And we're having difficult time finding seat covers that cover the captain's chairs

Car quality was a bit subpar. Easy pick up. Drives kind of strange.

I want to start out by saying that when I first talked to Kolton about renting the vehicle, he did tell me that
“This is not a not a brand new car, when it gets rented out on Turo cars, tend to get beat up so please go ahead and check the photos before”.
For which I replied by telling him - “No problem as far as the car being beaten up a little as long as the damage is not compromising the integrity of the vehicle to where it would be undrivable. I put in the app that our pick up is DTW airport. And I will make sure to take pictures of any damage to the vehicle before we drive it.”
(I did take pictures of the car when I picked it up)
Close to the end of our trip, my family and I had a flat tire while on the toll road and were able to use the spare to get us to our destination (1 hour away going 30-35mph). And I tried multiple times through Turo text, sms text and phone call to notify Kolton the host, but did not receive any message back in any form until late the next day.
Upon taking it to discount tire for repair, the technician informed me that the vehicle should not have been rented to me, so I relayed his message to Kolton (the host), saying:
“Kolton, after talking to the worker at discount tire he said due to the condition of just this one tire (front driver side) due to the wear bar being less than 2/32 it should not have been rented to us. So I don’t know how you want to handle this, but even if I replace it, I do feel that I need to notify Turo of it being an unsafe vehicle”
I let the host know that the price for tire replacement, installation and discard of old tire was $127.58 - which he told me he would reimburse after I paid for it. Still have not received that reimbursement in any form.
