Mini van was great. The ability to add a cooler, infant seat, and booster seat to our trip was super convenient. Quentin was super responsive once I let him know we had a flat tire and even offered to pick us up. Will definitely rent from him again!
Host, car, pickup location - all of it was worry free and a great price! Responsive host and wonderful car for a quick out of town trip!

Loved everything about the ride. Was able to fit all my kids. Second time renting through these guys and will probably rent through them again in the future.

The van was a great fit for our multi-generational group. It was easy for all to get in and out of and also provided plenty of “trunk space” for luggage, coolers, and groceries! The host was very responsive and easy to work with…even with requested changes to both the time and location of the pickup and drop-off! I would happily rent from them in the future if the need arises.

Great van for the family, Jeff communicated well. Easy pick up and drop off.

Was not able to get into the combination lock to take pictures of the interior so the check-in process was a little slow. Everything else great

The van was awesome. The pick up was awesome. Isabel and her partner our super host clean cold AC plenty of room

Quick and easy perfect car for me and my coworkers. Great on gas and comfortable
Jeff was great - patient with a Turo newbie. This vehicle is awesome! Great ride, it was very clean.

Jeff was a great host and made the pick up and drop off very easy! First time using Turo and am pleased with the experience.

Car was perfect no problem great on fuel, host was good communication and professional.

This was my first experience with Turo. I was guided through the entire process picking up and dropping off. My vehicle was very nice and Carlos was the best host! I thought the vehicle selection in the app was varied and would suit any needs. The price was fair. I especially liked that I could add a driver at no extra expense. Will go to Turo first for my next rental vehicle.

After the first car quit on me, they were so quick to make sure I got a replacement, which I think was their family car. But it got the job done and definitely got my trip done. Thank you so much for being accommodating!
From Reno-Tahoe International Airport, you'll have access to some of Nevada's most spectacular destinations and outdoor adventures. The region offers everything from crystal-clear mountain lakes to vibrant entertainment districts and historic mining towns. Whether you're planning casino visits, lake excursions, or mountain adventures, having a spacious rental minivan ensures everyone can travel together while enjoying the scenic drives that connect these remarkable destinations throughout northern Nevada.
Lake Tahoe stands as one of the world's most beautiful alpine lakes, offering crystal-clear waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dense forests. Step back in time at Virginia City, a remarkably preserved mining town that captures the spirit of Nevada's silver boom era. This historic destination features wooden sidewalks, period architecture, and authentic saloons that transport visitors to the 1800s. The town offers underground mine tours, vintage train rides, and fascinating museums that tell the story of the American West. Driving through the winding mountain roads leading to Virginia City provides spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and distant peaks, making the journey as memorable as the destination itself.

Pyramid Lake presents a striking contrast to the surrounding desert with its deep blue waters and distinctive rock formations. This ancient lake, remnant of prehistoric Lake Lahontan, offers excellent fishing opportunities and stunning photographic subjects with its otherworldly tufa formations. The drive to Pyramid Lake takes you through fascinating high desert terrain where you can observe unique geological features and desert wildlife. The lake's remote location provides a peaceful escape from urban areas, while the dramatic landscape creates an almost surreal atmosphere that feels like stepping onto another planet.

Multiple gas stations operate within the airport vicinity along US-395 and nearby surface streets, ensuring convenient refueling options. Electric vehicle charging stations are available at various locations throughout Reno, including shopping centers and hotels near the airport. The Nevada Department of Transportation maintains an online map showing current EV charging locations across the state.
No toll roads operate in the Reno airport area or throughout most of Nevada, making car travel budget-friendly for visitors. The state maintains its highway system through fuel taxes rather than tolls, so you can drive freely between Reno and surrounding attractions. This makes exploring Nevada's scenic routes and Lake Tahoe particularly convenient with your rental car.
Nevada requires all passengers to wear seat belts, and drivers must carry valid insurance documentation while operating any vehicle. Reno experiences significant elevation changes and mountain weather patterns that can affect driving conditions year-round. The city uses standard US traffic signals and road signage, with right turns permitted on red lights after complete stops unless posted otherwise.
From Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), take US-395 North toward downtown Reno for a straightforward route into the city center. The airport connects directly to major highways, making navigation simple for visitors arriving in Nevada. Your rental car will provide convenient access to Reno's casino district, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
A minivan rental from RNO works excellently for families visiting Lake Tahoe or exploring Nevada's outdoor attractions with multiple passengers and gear. These vehicles provide ample storage space for ski equipment, camping supplies, or luggage for extended stays in the Reno area. Consider your group size and planned activities when selecting between a minivan, SUV, or standard passenger van for your Nevada adventure.
The Lake Tahoe loop via Highway 431 (Mount Rose Highway) offers stunning alpine scenery and connects to California's north shore attractions. Highway 50 east toward Carson City provides access to Nevada's capital and historic Virginia City mining district. Interstate 80 west leads to Sacramento and San Francisco, while US-395 south takes you toward Mammoth Lakes and Eastern Sierra recreation areas.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you'll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you'll see the total miles or kilometers you're allowed to drive under the heading "Distance included." You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the "Unlimited distance" filter.
