Overall, the vehicle was in good condition (mechanically), low mileage, and performed well throughout the trip. However, there was a significant issue with the key fob.
From the day after pickup, the vehicle frequently failed to detect the key, often taking 5–10 minutes before it would start. I reported this to the host, but the concern was dismissed and I was told it would be checked after the trip.
The situation became much more serious when my family and I were in a remote area with no phone service. The vehicle would not detect the key, leaving us stranded for over an hour with our children. We were unable to contact roadside assistance and only managed to get the vehicle started because a passerby knew a workaround.
While the vehicle itself was great, this issue caused a very stressful and potentially unsafe situation, and I was disappointed that the concern was not taken more seriously when it was first reported. The Host (so called co-host) is really irresponsible person.
