Overall, this rental process had a disappointing start, but thankfully, things turned around by the end.
When we arrived to pick up the vehicle we reserved, it was not available because the previous renter had not returned it on time. Michael provided us with another vehicle in the meantime, but unfortunately, it was not up to par. The vehicle had damage on the driver’s side, a headlight was out, along with dents and scratches. The interior was also messy, with napkins, sunflower seeds, and an unknown substance throughout the back seat.
Once we were able to get the vehicle we originally reserved, the experience was better. The van was spacious, comfortable, and had CarPlay, which made getting from point A to point B throughout our trip easier.
For future rentals, I would recommend thoroughly checking and cleaning the vehicles before they are rented out, especially after a previous renter. While I appreciate that the situation was eventually resolved, having the wrong vehicle and receiving a vehicle in that condition at the start of our trip was disappointing.
