Picking up the car was quite an ordeal. When I arrived, the keys were not where the host’s instructions said they would be. The instructions were clear, but the keys simply were not there. Since I was unable to contact the host at the time, I had to book a hotel room and wait until the following morning to get in touch. It turned out that the keys were located somewhere else in the vehicle, not in the place indicated in the instructions.
A few hours after starting the trip, a warning light appeared on the dashboard. I contacted the host for assistance or some kind of solution, but the response I received was simply, “You can drive it.” I had to continue driving for the entire trip with the warning message on, including while traveling with children on board, which did not make me feel safe and comfortable.
Finally, although the vehicle looked good in the photos, its actual condition was disappointing. The seats and headliner were quite dirty, with large visible stains.
Overall, the experience was well below expectations, and I would not rent this vehicle again.
