Unfortunately, the vehicle had an extremely strong garlic odor from the moment we picked it up, which I reported to the host right away. The smell persisted throughout our trip and was especially intense after the car had been closed overnight or sitting in the Florida heat. Multiple adults in our family noticed it. At times it made us feel nauseous, and we had to drive with the windows down and limit the use of recirculated A/C.
We also paid extra for a child car seat, but it had significant stains and we felt the need to clean it ourselves before putting our baby in it.
There was also an issue with MCO parking. I specifically asked the host whether the parking was already paid, but did not receive a direct answer and ultimately had to pay $5 to exit the airport economy lot, despite Turo’s MCO policy placing this parking responsibility on the host.
To be fair, the vehicle itself was new, drove well, and was otherwise in good condition. Unfortunately, cleanliness, the persistent odor, the condition of the paid child-seat extra, and the parking experience made this a very disappointing rental for our family.

Our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned between every trip, and no odor was found when this 2026 vehicle was returned. When you first complained, I immediately offered to let you return the car, but you refused, completed the entire trip, and then requested a discount. It is clear that this story was created to obtain a discount, which shows bad faith. The car seat was also cleaned; it only had cosmetic stains from normal use. You are no longer welcome as a customer, and I sincerely hope we never do
The car was clean and easy to navigate to. Air conditioning was cold and fit out whole family plus 4 luggage. Communication was great. Easy directions to find the vehicle. Thank you very much.
