Van was overheating no ac when is hot outside

If I could give this experience zero stars, I would.
I rented this vehicle for a week and began having mechanical issues on day 2, including trouble accelerating and a door not closing properly. The situation escalated when the car wouldn’t start, leaving me stranded for over an hour with my children waiting for roadside assistance.
The roadside technician confirmed the battery was faulty, yet the host suggested I go purchase a new battery myself and be reimbursed later, which was not reasonable given the circumstances.
When it was time to return the vehicle, it failed to start again. Instead of assistance, the host threatened to charge me a late fee for a delay caused by the vehicle’s condition.
This experience was stressful, unsafe, and completely unacceptable, especially while traveling with children. I would not recommend renting this vehicle and I hope Turo reviews this listing for safety before allowing future rentals!

Door was broken . Had to make several attempts to get in contact with the host. Had to drive to get a different vehicle in a timely manner. When getting an ‘exhange’ the hosts didn’t work together and we had to pay additional fees while waiting for a refund from Turo !
