Great car. Clean and just what was needed

First the good.
1. Communication from the host was great. They answered any qusetion clearly and fast.
2. The pickup and drop off was easy navigate. Key was in a lock box and easy to retrieve.
3. The van has good storage
The bad
1. The car on the freeway would drop out of a higher gear to 2nd or 3rd gear. This happen multiple times. The host did offer us to take it to there mechanic, but im not going to spend the short vacation time I have sitting at a mechanics. We wanted to drive an hour to the beach but didnt trust the van would make it.
2. The state of the van, mechanically, was bad. Both front and rear bumpers were obviously coming off or hit, one headlight was out, the passenger door doesn't unlock with the fob, etc. All smaller things but this van is definitely showing its age.
3. The tires are all gone. It rained a little while in town and the tires struggled to keep us straight. It wasnt a strong FL rain either, just a simple drizzle, and the tires were quite scary to drive on city streets.
Yes the price is about $75 cheaper than other mini vans but I wish I would have spent more for a better car.

The host was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with, which I really appreciated.
Overall, great experience and I would definitely rent this car again!
