Van was very dirty and damaged

Seems a waste of time to review this van since Turo has officially banned the host from listing it again, but just in case this host has other vehicles I’ll write this because this person is to vehicles what a slumlord is to apartments. A footlong gash in the roof of this rust bucket allowed enough rainwater in overnight to ruin the very cargo for which I had needed the van. When I confronted them, they LIED and said the roof had never so much as let a drop of water in, even though the floorboards are curly with water damage and the mildew smell so strong, I trashed the jeans I was wearing when I had to take a knee back there. THEN this joker sent me a screenshot of a couple of bad reviews I’ve gotten from other slumlord TUROers. I use this platform a lot, and it’s honestly a crapshoot. Since TURO can’t inspect (or smell) cars, or car owners’ personalities before onboarding them to the platform, what you get can sometimes be rough. The kind of person who’d charge good money for a subpar vehicle tends to be the same kind of person who lies, reacts defensively, tries to pass blame, then pouts and writes a bad review when exposed for their wrongdoings. Sorry, grifters, your reviews don’t hurt my feelings OR my ability to rent cars, so I’ll continue to expose you with the hope of saving others the headaches I’ve endured. Grow up, do better business.

Interior light in van would not turn off, eventually it did go off while driving. no instructions to end your trip if you want to end earlier. Van ran good and did the job.

Was a little hard to find, but vehicle was in good shape and ran well. Host was responsive.
