When I picked up the van it smelled like cigarette smoke and you couldn't see out of the windows because they were so grimy and dirty. I had a planned trip the next day with my family to New Hampshire so I had no choice but to take it at that point. I spent about 2 hours cleaning it to make it smell better and able to see out of the windows. We ended up being okay but when I messaged and called the host to explain he got very defensive and told me to go ahead and leave a 1 star review. He said because he had so many other good reviews it was impossible that the van smelled. He asked me what did I want from him. Honestly a discount for my two hours time, deodorant and glass cleaner I bought would have been fair in my opinion but leaving this review per his suggestion is fine. I will not be using the Turo app ever again. You have to clean other peoples cars and deal with their crappy attitude. Not something I want to deal with on my family trips.

Out of my 241 five star Turo trips and wonderful customers, I never meet any guest like him being so deceitful. This van has 51 trips with all the five stars and never a single customer claimed the smoke smell and van being dirty. I helped him get the car and by the time when he picked it up he didn't mention any smoke smell. Only when he drove back from New Hampshire after 400miles and claimed there is a smoke smell. As evident in his own word, he just want some money back. Such a scam.

Bin is such great host. All instructions are straightforward. No issues from the time I picked up the car till I returned it. The car was clean and in great condition for the entire trip. My friends were comfortable for the entire if our trip.
