THE NATURE OF TURO
This is the only VW Buzz I could find to rent in South Florida. I'm considering buying one, and this is the only way to long term test drive. Not really the host's fault, but the host does not check the car between clients. The previous client left empty cans in the car, gross back windows, and the electric battery below 20%. The host tells you the car below 20% can be catastrophic, and we could see why. Not intending to stay in the immediate Miami Airport area turned into a non negotiable. After nearly 2 hours of mad panic, cursing, finding chargers without a wait, getting to one with 8%, and eating at a mall we never intended to be at while waiting, we were on our way. So, yes, the 1st two hours sucked.
After this, we absolutely loved this rental. Getting the key amd leaving the key was a breeze. The Buzz itself is fun, and so very roomy. We got smiles and people wanting to talk to us every where we went. The tech in the car can be overwhelming at first, but then you don't know how you can live without it.
I highly suggest renting this for the immediate Miami area. It is NOT really made for long trips as the top range of the battery is a few miles over 200. It is so easy to park in the tightest of spots and maneuver around the tightest corners. Plus it looks so super cute. A very happy vehicle that makes people smile everywhere it goes. Definitely rent this VW Buzz!
