The vehicle was great, the host was pleasant but we received the van late and we received it with expired tags. Unfortunately, we were going out of town at 4am the next morning so we had to take the van or cancel our trip. Fast forward to making it to Texas, on the way back we get stopped by the State Troopers who treated us like we were trying to traffic drugs lol. I had a crazy panic attack waiting for us to be released, yes for expired tags that didn’t have registration showing up in the system- they removed my brother in law from the van and took him to the police car. They did release us with a warning. Upon return, I didn’t realize the gas was 3/4 full instead of 4/4 and he became noticeably irritated and asked why I didn’t put it all the way back. I told I was just moving too fast and we could go over to the store to add another $15 in which that did fill it back up from when we got it. Now considering the multiple inconveniences we experienced, he could’ve given that 1/4 of a tank as a courtesy. But this was my first time going the Turo route (my family always does it) and I think I will take my chances with a rental car moving forward. Not a bad rental just verify tags and registration before leaving TN too much is happening in 2026.

Our first time renting through Turo was an amazing experience! The vehicle was spotless, the host was incredibly kind and easy to work with, and the entire process was quick and stress-free. Everything went smoothly, and we had a wonderful trip without a single issue.
We’ll definitely be using Turo again for future vacations and road trips. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple, reliable, and affordable rental experience. Thank you for making our first Turo experience such a great one!
