HUGE ROACH INFESTATION! Car wasn’t cleaned. There were still toys and dirty bandaids in the van. We are a family of 7- traveling for medical care for one of our kids. We were traveling to GA during daytime and a few hours into the drive our kids noticed roaches. We contacted the owner- he said oh the people before you had it 2 weeks and we just got it back and told us to put roach bombs. Once we got to GA, it was dark. Roaches were EVERYWHERE! I informed him due to our son’s health condition we couldn’t do the roach bombs. He didn’t care. Neither of the owners who read the messages would help. Refused to tow the vehicle! Under the mats had dead roaches and huge dirty marks all over. They knew there was a roach problem and still allowed for this rental. Multiple videos and photos were sent to Turo showing the condition within hours of us getting the vehicle.
Turo gave our money back for the rental. We had no choice but to take the vehicle back to Fl according to TURO!
Our kids were traumatized. Roaches were crawling all over even after we did 12 roach bombs and roach gel! Worst experience ever. All 7 of our belongings are still in our garage and bagged up! Literally the worst. We won’t ever rent from Turo again because of this. Turo customer service was one of the most difficult. Over 7 hours on the phone (we had the rental for a week) and issues still haven’t fully been resolved.
This case will be going further due to loss of damage to our belongings from their disgusting vehicle.

The vehicle was taken out of service for inspection and treatment after the issue was reported. We regret that the situation affected your trip and appreciate the feedback. The pickup and drop off was super way. Location was very easy to find and instructions were very clear. The a/c in the van didn’t work and went out on our way to Orlando for our family trip.
