Smooth rental with no complains! This van is meant from smooth road trips, spacious, clean, and easily maintainable. The air works great in the Texas heat,too. The family enjoyed.

The car has been worn out. The brakes were far from being in good shape. The rotors were worn very badly and the brakes shook the car on hills. Also on hills the transmission would get the throttle stuck. Cruise control worked fine on flat land just no inclines. Has a lot of miles but car runs very strong woh plenty of get up and go. Car had dog hair through back cargo area from previous renter. I cleaned all of this up for the next driver. I would run the car local but scared for a long read trip again.

I’ll be completely transparent in this review. The vehicle got us safely to and from our destination without any major mechanical issues, which I appreciated.
That said, there were a few concerns. The backup camera worked intermittently, there was a noticeable odor inside the vehicle, and there was visible dog hair in the rear cargo area.
The biggest issue was the return experience. We followed the address and GPS information provided and returned the vehicle in good faith, documenting the drop-off with timestamped photos almost 2 hours before our drop off time. However, the host initially claimed that the vehicle had not been returned and sent multiple emotional and accusatory messages before it was ultimately located just nearby.
The interaction became uncomfortable enough that I chose to reached out to Turo support.
Even after the vehicle was back in the host’s possession, more messages continued from the host. I was also met with two additional messages from the host that following morning.
I’ve used Turo for nearly five years, maintain a 5-star rating as a guest, and have never had an experience like this.
While I’m glad the vehicle was ultimately located at the location the gps sent us just nearby and the trip itself was completed, future guests should be aware.
