This was a truly awful experience. The vansAC did not work and then it broke down. We were traveling with 2 babies and the south Texas heat was unbearable.
Carlos was wonderful to talk to and a great help. He got us a new vehicle that night however it was not a van and therefore did not fit 4 adults and 2 babies.
This incident could have been so much worse. Luckily the van broke down only 10 blocks from our condo so they could walk back. But what if we had been far away? I had to have the bartender jump the van to get it moving again.
Unacceptable- whoever owns these vehicles should be audited to make sure that he is providing families with safe and function vehicles.

Vehicles exterior was extremely beat up. Every angle of the van has very noticeable damage. There’s a string holding up the right side of the bumper. The Maintenance Required banner never turned off, I was very stressed if this vehicle was going to take and return me and my family back safely. I even called the Turo assignee Carlos just to confirm that this was the same van being advertised. Only because we had no time to make other arrangements, but this vehicle was an embarrassment to be on vacation with. The photos need to be updated so that potential customers can see the current state of van.
