My vehicle was switched last minute due to maintenance. When I drove off, I noticed the tire pressure was uneven, but I didn’t think much of it at first. After arriving at my Airbnb, the tire began to slowly deflate. Later, when I left for the store, I realized the pressure had dropped significantly.
I contacted the owner and was told to bring the vehicle back to their address for repair. I attempted to put air in the tire to wait till morning but I was unable to return the vehicle due to prior commitments the next morning. I had to keep refilling the air in tire just to get by.
When I reached out again, I was then instructed to call roadside assistance and was told I wouldn’t be responsible for any charges. However, I ended up paying $228 for towing on top of my rental costs, and I was not reimbursed.
I contacted customer service to cancel my booking. This has been, by far, the worst experience I’ve had using Turo.
