The van was great and perfect for our quick family trip to LA!

We rented this van through Turo and unfortunately had a serious safety concern shortly after pickup. Within about 10 minutes of driving, our 9-year-old daughter touched an exposed wire connected to an outlet in the backseat area and received an electrical shock.
We immediately pulled over and contacted the host. They apologized and said they were unaware of the issue. We were then asked to purchase electrical tape ourselves and were told we would be reimbursed $50 for the trouble, but despite multiple follow-ups, we have not received reimbursement.
Beyond the reimbursement issue, our main concern is the safety condition of the vehicle. We would not feel comfortable renting this vehicle again, especially for families traveling with children.
