Is there anything I need to do before returning the car?
Please return the car with a full tank of gas. I aim to deliver cars with a tank of gas topped off. I'd appreciate it if you could do the same. I'd also appreciate it if you could return the van reasonably clean, similar to how you have picked it up. You do not need to detail it or get every single grain of sand out of it, please remove all trash and return it in a reasonable condition. In case the exterior is dirty and you like to get the van cleaned, I recommend Sudz car wash in Lihue or Kapaa.
Can I return the car late?
We rely on the car being returned on time, so that I have enough time to prepare it for the next rental. If for some reason you can not return it on time, please do let us know right away so we can check if extension of the rental is possible.

The car was great for our family with a huge trunk for our baggage and beach outings. Check in and check out was easy and the Turo shuttle was fast and frequent. Tim was very responsive. A great experience.

I had an incredible experience renting from Tim on Turo during my trip to Kauai! The van was in great condition and ran flawlessly throughout our entire stay. It was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family as we explored every corner of the island.
From the scenic drive along the Na Pali Coast to the lush landscapes of Waimea Canyon, the van handled all the terrains effortlessly. The air conditioning kept us cool during the warm days, and the sound system made our drives even more enjoyable listening to the self guided tours on the Shaka app.
The host was exceptionally communicative and I highly recommend renting from Tim if you’re planning a trip to Kauai. It made our vacation seamless and truly unforgettable. Five stars all the way!
