It was my first turo-ing and I was hopeful it would work out. I arrived to the address (with my3 kids in an uber) after messaging them that I would be arriving soon. I rang the bell and knocked on the door 10 times. I messaged the owner stating I was there. A bit later, while the uber was kind enough to wait to mar sure it all worked out, the owner messaged that there was a lock box on the car and gave me the code. Up to that point, I was very stressed and was within a minute of asking the uber to bring us to the airport so I could rent a car there instead. It did work, and I got the code and we were able to leave Vegas to head to the national parks, but the pickup (speed) of the car was slower than I expected (I have driven a minivan with my 3 kids for years and this was really slow compared to what I was used to. We have another trip to Wyoming coming up this summer and I have serious reservations about using turo again. I feel like it was a financial savings but the stress was not worth it.
