We had a wonderful time on the Big Island and the van was perfect for our group to have plenty of room to explore and drive around the island! Peter was very responsive and friendly and very helpful whenever I had any questions!

First time Turo user. Everything went smooth. Just a few minor dings and dents prior to pickup, but that was all noted with photos. Everything worked fine for 8 people and luggage. Great fuel mileage being a hybrid car.

BEWARE: Despite multiple great previous reviews, this was a really disappointing experience. Shortly after picking up the car, we found multiple cockroaches inside the vehicle, which is extremely unsanitary. What made it worse is that the host later confirmed they already knew the previous renter had returned the car with roaches, yet the car was still given to us without proper cleaning or treatment. A trap alone clearly wasn’t enough.
The car also had visible exterior damage, including a dent and a bumper that was partially hanging off, none of which was disclosed beforehand.
To make matters worse, the host was not helpful in resolving the situation, and I ended up spending several hours of my vacation on the phone with Turo support just to deal with something that should never have happened in the first place.
This caused a lot of unnecessary stress during our trip, and I would not recommend renting this vehicle.
cockroaches are very common in Hawaii. the previous guest just returned 1 hour before you, no treatment can kill them right away, trap will kill them all overnight. you just have to wait for a night. offered you to end the trip and get refund, we don't have another car available, you can rent a car from other host. There is a dent but no half haning bumper. We could just retrive the car and give you a refund, you called a tow truck and claim it's not safe to drive and have us to pay $350.

Great van. Excellent fuel economy and comfortably fit all our luggage, beach gear and 7 passengers for 10 days. Mahalo!
