The car worked just fine for our needs, but the car has a good amount of damage on the exterior and the pictures on the listing are clearly way outdated as some of the scraps on the exterior have been there long enough to have rust. It also had a smoke odor as well and just felt in poor maintenance for a car that only has 48k miles. The host was responsive and had no issues with the host - just the car.

Quality of the car was less than desired. The car had a horrendous smoke smell. I am not a smoker and had I known this was a smoking vehicle I would have not rented it. Not a huge deal but there was plenty of sand in the cracks and other places in the car but I was required to clean up a car that wasn’t super clean to begin with. John the host was good!
I apologize. The previous guest had left what appeared to be a marijuana odor in the car. The van is NOT a smoking vehicle and the smell has now been remediated. Thank you for your understanding. 🙏🏼

The car was dirty, infested with roaches. This is not acceptable.
I’m sorry to hear about this experience. This is the first time this has been brought to my attention. The vehicle is treated regularly and has not had any ongoing issues, but I take concerns like this seriously and will be having it treated again immediately as a precaution.
Living on Maui, occasional pests can happen despite preventative measures, but I always aim to provide a clean and reliable experience for every guest.
