Eric was very attentive during the hand-off, and the car was very clean. The vehicle had some minor wear expected for its age, exactly as shown in the pre-trip photos, but nothing significant. Unfortunately, the car suffered a mechanical failure (transmission issue) during my trip. The biggest problem was the complete lack of communication from the host during this emergency. I was unable to reach him for support and had to handle the breakdown and towing entirely through Turo Support. I would have rented from him again if the car hadn't failed, or if he had provided assistance when needed.
