Terrible communication. I asked where we go to pick up the vehicle at 8:50am. The co-host said he will release it at 9:00am. We'll 9:00am comes around and no communication. I messaged him multiple times with no reply or directions. I send him a picture of my children sitting and waiting im the airport at 9:10am and almost begging to please just let us know which way to start leaving the airport so we can start the journey to the car. Finally, he sent a pin directions with no communication. We had no idea how to get to the spot where the car was. We had to ask multiple airport employees who were very helpful and finally we boarded a shuttle to take us 10 minutes to the parking area where the car was. By the time we arrived it was a bit after 10:00pm. When we got into the vehicle there was trash, used paper plates, and old chicken nuggets and fries on the ground. It also leaked like cigarette smoke. I reported this to the renters and co host immediately with no response. We decided to fo ahead and take the car as we were returning to the airport around 6:00 for our next flight. While driving, the vehicle beeped the entire trip showing that the rear driver door was open. We opened and shut the door multiple times with no resolve. We determined that it wasn't worth the risk of my son falling out of the car or something else going wrong so we returned the car early at 3:00pm. 2 hours before the time we booked we would rather sit in the airport then deal with the beeping any more. All in all it was a terrible experience. I have rented multiple vehicles through turo all over the united states and never had an experience like this before. Hopefully this was a one time fluke. I have reached out to the original renter and will be contacting Turo directly.
