Overall, the rental van was a good size for our group of eight. It comfortably fit everyone along with all of our luggage, making it a great vehicle for a road trip.

Unfortunately, there were two significant issues that impacted our experience.

The biggest problem was the air conditioning. Throughout the entire trip, the driver's side never cooled as well as the passenger side. Even worse, whenever the van came to a stop, the AC would begin blowing hot air. We were traveling in temperatures over 95°F, so having unreliable air conditioning made the drive extremely uncomfortable, especially for the driver. A vehicle rented during the middle of summer should have a properly functioning AC system.

We also experienced a significant delay at pickup. Our reservation was for 8:00 AM, and we arrived early to complete the check-in process. We weren't able to leave with the van until about 8:45 AM. We were told there were parking issues, the associate didn't bring the key until around 8:30, and they still needed to take photos of the vehicle before releasing it. This delay was entirely outside of our control and cut into the rental time that we paid for.

While the van met our space needs, the malfunctioning AC and the unnecessary pickup delay significantly affected our overall experience. I hope the company addresses both the vehicle maintenance and the pickup process so future customers receive the service and rental time they paid for.
