this car was good but the host was so sweet and we would recommend the host!

1 star. Very disappointing experience.
The vehicle experienced a serious overheating/mechanical issue during our trip and became disabled in a busy intersection outside the Bellagio while I was traveling with my wife, baby, and other passengers. We immediately contacted Turo roadside assistance, stayed with the vehicle, and followed the proper process. Law enforcement later determined the vehicle was a safety hazard and ordered it to be towed.
Afterward, instead of being understanding about the situation, the host attempted to file claims against me for returning the vehicle late and for vehicle damage, even though the car was disabled, police-ordered towed, and Turo support confirmed I was not responsible for the impound-related costs.
Mechanical issues can happen, but blaming guests for circumstances outside their control after they followed proper procedure created an unnecessarily stressful experience. I would not rent from this host again.
