The last day of our family trip, the ac went out. I messaged the host right away. I asked if it would be okay to split my trip home half. Meaning I would drive 3 hours stop and get a hotel, because it was 100 degrees outside I had two toddlers and another kid. It was not realistic for me to drive 6 hours with no ac. So I thought I could drive 3 hours get a hotel and leave early in the morning when it wouldn’t be so hot to drop the van off. The host response really shocked me. Esp being a parent himself. He said that was not an option and that the car needed to be returned on schedule. The lack of concern and unreliable vehicle is something I want others to really be aware of. Side note and also super important
I took the van and had it inspected to see what was wrong with the ac. Keep in mind this came out of my pocket, there findings stated the seal was bad and worn due to wear and tear. The host is saying road debris caused the issue however, this claim was determined to be false by the mechanic I took it too.
After not getting any resolution from the host I reached out to Turo customer care, and they were beyond helpful and getting this resolved.

the AC works perfectly fine. see more recent reviews. this guest damaged the vehicle, took it to her buddy mechanic to price-gouch me into a repair I explicitly said must be done at the Honda dealership only. when I refused to play their game, she started making threats of giving me 1 star reviews. my car is only serviced at Honda dealerships

Car is excellent for family driving. We had issue with charger ( not charging all the time, possibly due to poor quality cable, pointed out by owner).
