The host was friendly and responsive. However, the vehicle had a strong odor, and the AC was not working properly. We were informed that the AC compressor was broken, which made the vehicle uncomfortable, especially given the Texas heat.
We were given the option to cancel the trip, but since the main purpose of our trip to Texas was scheduled for the following day, I decided to keep the van rather than deal with the hassle and uncertainty of finding and booking another Turo vehicle. Overall, the host was pleasant, but the condition of the vehicle and the lack of working AC negatively affected our experience.
