The biggest issue with this rental was the pickup communication. Our reservation started at 4:00 PM, but we never received pickup instructions beforehand. I ended up messaging the host about 15 minutes before our reservation, and the instructions were still not sent until after our pickup time. It then took us about 18 minutes to locate the vehicle, so we did not actually begin our drive until roughly 45 minutes into our reservation. This has never happened to us with any previous Turo rental, and it was frustrating to lose that much time after arriving from our flight.

Because of that experience, I made sure to reach out well in advance before our 5:30 AM return so I would have clear drop off instructions ahead of time and avoid the same issue.

That being said, the actual minivan was excellent. It was extremely clean, very spacious for all seven of us, and had plenty of room for all of our luggage. We also purchased the car seat add on, which was absolutely worth it and made traveling with our toddler much easier. The van did have a slight shake while driving, but it was not a big deal to us and never impacted our trip. Overall, we have no complaints about the vehicle itself. It got us safely to and from all of our destinations. If the pickup communication had been better, this would have easily been a five star rental.

I was disappointed with my rental experience. When I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, I was informed that the car was not ready. I wasn’t notified in advance, so I ended up waiting about 45 minutes before I could leave.

The vehicle also had what appeared to be bad motor mounts, causing noticeable vibration while idling and hard shifting while driving. Although the car got us through our trip without breaking down, it was not in the condition I expected from a rental vehicle.

Overall, the lack of communication about the delay and the condition of the car made this a less-than-satisfactory experience. I hope these issues are addressed for future customers.

Great experience overall. The vehicle was clean, drove well, and was exactly as described. Pickup and drop-off instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Communication with Patricia was smooth and responsive throughout the trip. I also appreciated her flexibility and clarity with the return process.

I did notice the coolant level was low during the trip, but I informed her and was able to top it up with the correct coolant, and everything ran normally afterward.

Would definitely rent again. Highly recommended.
