The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because it was very easy to pick up and host was very friendly. Now on to the vehicle.... appeared as advertised on the exterior. Unfortunately, inside was another story. I rented this van to assist me in moving some loads of boxes to my new home. After driving 45 minutes back, and attempting to get to work, there was a laundry list of issues with this van. First off, drivers side AC blowing hot while passenger blows cold- no dual climate control. Next, the key fob was useless, and not working. Then I went to push the interior buttons to open the side sliding doors, again not working, neither window on sliders work, neither back vent window work. Passenger side slider not opening from inside, there is a huge mess of tangled wires in the sliding door at the bottom. Then I went to use the stow and go, which is WHY I rented it, drivers back seat will not stow, it's stuck up, the passenger side rear seat latch was broken off to even try to use the stow and go. There was also carpet flooring missing in the rear, I had to put a rug down to not scratch my stuff up. If I didn't live so far, I would have returned it after all of this, notifying the host would have been useless since I was so far and did not have time to keep driving back and forth and paying for extra fuel. I paid a substantial amount of money for this rental for a vehicle that was nearly useless for my intended use. This vehicle needs attention and repair. Also some sort of noise like something is loose while driving on the freeway. This vehicle was the worst one I have ever used from turo and I have been using the app for years. Extremely disappointed.
Jennifer- I am sorry to hear you had difficulty with your rental. I wish you would have reached out during your trip because I may have been able to help. The key fob simply needed a new battery, and as for the AC, it works perfectly. When I got in it to test after reading your review, the driver knob was set to high. I turned it to low and both sides blow cold as can be. Please feel free to rent again, we will try to make the experience up to you.
